Evangelical United Brethren Church
The beginning of the work was periodic visitations of a German speaking pastor from Golden Lake as early as 1877. Officially organized in 1880 it was not until 1882 that a minister was stationed in Arnprior. Rev. S. F. Graeb was the first resident pastor. The Harrington Street property was purchased from the Methodist, and in 1907 the present church building was erected under the ministry of Rev. O. G. Hallman. The Evangelical United Brethren Church is Arminian in Doctrine; Methodist in Polity; Evangelical in Effort; and Missionary in Spirit.
